Pearland is a popular area for families in the Houston–The Woodlands–Sugar Land Metropolitan area. On the eastern side are older mansions. On the western side are nice suburban developments. Pearland has many master-planned communities including, the Lakes of Highland Glen, Shadow Creek Ranch, Southdown, Southern Trails, and Sunrise Lakes, Southdown, Southern Trails, and Sunrise Lakes.

Location
Pearland is due south of downtown Houston. It is easy to get there. Just take Highway 288 until you reach Shadow Creek Ranch, and then go east towards the center of Pearland.
