Sugar Land is a terrific neighborhood located just southwest of the Houston City Center. This area has a major “wow” factor. It ranks the highest in terms of livability, amenities, low crime rate, education, employment, and beautiful weather. This is the most desirable place in Houston, with magnificent mansions and homes on small private lakes.

Location
Sugar Land is southwest of Houston City center. By taking Interstate Highway 69 South, it goes directly through the center of Sugar Land.

Cost of Living
Because the area is so highly desirable, the cost of living in Sugar Land is 20% higher than the average city in Texas, and 10% higher than the average city in America. Even though, people pay more to live in Sugar Land, they get many benefits from living there.

Schools
Great Schools ranks the public education system in America. It finds six elementary schools in Sugar Land that have the highest ranking possible of a score of ten out of ten.
